The Woodlands Tavern is situated in the heart of the friendly chocolate box village of Llanvair Discoed, Monmouthshire, South Wales. Close to the Roman fortress town of Caerwent and set at the foot of Gray Hill, Wentwood forest and reservoir, the area is known for its historical interest and outstanding natural beauty.

Chef Keith, his wife Sue and their team at the woodlands tavern welcome you to try our varied menu of freshly prepared and locally sourced quality food with a regularly changing blackboard where fish is highly featured. Lunch and dinner menus available.

Our popular lunchtime menu, 2 courses for £9.95 or 3 courses for £12.95, is served Tuesday to Friday from 12.00-2.00pm.
